The natural disaster that i chose was a hurricane. The hurricane that i am focusing on is hurricane Ivan that devastated Grenada in 2004. It also did damage to Jamaica and the Cayman islands as well.It hit Grenada as a category 5 storm, which is the strongest it can get. It blew everything in Grenada to pieces and completely left it devastated. I know this first hand because we have a another fish processing plant in Grenada which my brother runs, he was not there at the time but had to arrive the day after via a us military plane that had set up temporary base in Barbados. Grenada had very little support for about 3 weeks my father had to charter a fishing boat to take supplies to Grenada for my brother to survive because the airport had still not been reopened as yet. Up to this time Grenada is still rebuilding and has not fully recovered.
